The Youth Empowerment Support Services, or YESS program is a program designed to assist current and former foster youth and homeless youth in being successful in college. Our program offers textbook assistance, meal vouchers, transportation assistance, priority registration, school supplies, counseling, and more. We also have events and small groups that allow you to meet other students in the program and learn many great skills! The program is open to any student registered in 6 or more units who is current or former foster youth and/or current homeless youth that can provide documentation of their status, regardless of age. If you would like to apply for the YESS Program, please fill an application and provide a copy of your foster youth documentation letter and education plan. If you do not have a foster youth documentation letter, you may call 1-877-846-1602 to obtain one.
