Aid for Students (AFS) Program

The Aid for Students (AFS) is a new program at Barstow Community College that is designed to provide academic support, financial assistance and encouragement for eligible low income and educationally disadvantaged students. Through various forms of assistance, AFS allows students to focus on success by meeting their educational/vocational goals.

Program Eligibility Requirements:

  • A California Resident or active military service member.
  • Qualified for the board of Governor’s fee waiver (BOG) A or B, or C with a EFC of 200 or less.
  • Educationally disadvantaged as defined by the State Chancellors office.
