Online Drop-In Tutoring Hours
Online Drop-in tutoring is a service that allows students to receive assistance when they are not able to come in or they just have a quick question. This service is available to students via zoom Monday through Thursday 9am-5pm. To join this zoom meeting please follow the link below.
How to prepare for your tutoring appointment:
- Make sure your webcam and microphone work (if virtual)
- Have questions ready for your tutor.
- Prepare materials ahead of time, such as notes, textbook, and homework.
- Be ready to participate in the tutoring session with your tutor.
- Read and agree to our Tutoring Appointment Policy
During non-operational hours, students may use NetTutor for immediate assistance.
Math and English Support
The TLSC understands that Math and English may be intimidating to some. However, with our Directed Learning Activities students are now able to test and improve their skill in these areas.
Directed Learning Activities (DLAs)
A DLA is an activity that students complete independently that complements and extends classroom instruction. Some courses require students to complete DLAs. After completing a DLA, students must review it with a tutor in order to receive verification. The DLA process, from start to review, takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
