Due to the extreme temperatures we will be experiencing this week, Barstow Community College has set up a cooling station in our gymnasium. Beginning Monday, July 8th, through Thursday, July 11th, the James R. Parks gymnasium will be open to the public from 9 AM to 6 PM to provide a safe and cool environment to escape the heat.
We have arranged the following amenities for your comfort:
- Tables and chairs
- Access to restrooms
- Movies for children
- Food available for purchase from the Viking Grill (9am-130pm)
- Free Wi-Fi available
We encourage everyone to take advantage of this cooling station during these hot days. Please share with those in need.
