We encourage students, staff, and faculty to wear gear featuring a famous Black person—whether a historic leader, artist, activist, or athlete. From Martin Luther King Jr. to Beyoncé, Maya Angelou to Tupac, this day is about recognizing and honoring the incredible contributions of Black icons. Let’s come together to celebrate their legacies and the ongoing impact they have on society. Wear your favorite icon's image, quote, or symbol, and stand proud in support of Black excellence!
