Students who are completing a degree or certificate must meet with a counselor to submit a graduation petition. A counselor will review your program of study and confirm that you have completed, or are currently enrolled in, all remaining courses required for your degree or certificate.
To be eligible to petition, students must have all remaining program requirements completed or in progress during the term in which they are petitioning to graduate.
Transfer Coursework
If you have completed courses at another college or university, official transcripts must be submitted to Admissions & Records for evaluation. Transfer coursework cannot be applied toward your degree or certificate until it has been officially evaluated and posted to your academic record.
To avoid delays in processing your graduation petition, students are strongly encouraged to submit official transcripts as early as possible.
Petition Deadlines
Students may petition to graduate through the last day of the semester for the term in which they are completing their requirements.
