John Gregg

Trustee Gregg was born and raised in Barstow, and never left.  He started working for Highway Radio while still attending Barstow High School and has worked for Highway Radio / Heftel Broadcasting for over 38 years, still working for them today on part-time basis.  Trustee Gregg has worked every position up the corporate ladder from Chief Janitor to General Manager to Executive Director. He has always been very involved in this community, through Boy Scouts, Royal Rangers, coaching multiple sports at different levels for over 25 years.  He is also very involved in church, school programs, Barstow Area chamber of commerce, and actively working with non-profits.  Trustee Gregg truly believes that Nelson Mandela put it best… “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
