Sonia Compton-Reay
Board Member-County Representative
A proud Barstow native and 1997 Barstow High graduate, Trustee Compton is a dedicated advocate for education and community development. A 2020 graduate of Barstow Community College, she is currently pursuing her MBA at Park University.
With over 20 years as a licensed manicurist and nine years as a business owner, she brings real-world experience to her role. As a former BCC instructor and Academic Senate member, Trustee Compton has taught entrepreneurship, customer service, and job readiness skills, including work with justice-involved individuals.
Her passion for education, trades, and community service drives her commitment to fostering opportunities for students and residents alike.
