The True to You Club is a student-led community at Barstow Community College that welcomes LGBTQ+ students and allies into a space of affirmation, empowerment, and connection. Whether you're seeking friendship, conversation, or opportunities to lead change, this is a place where you can show up fully and be supported every step of the way.
Our Mission
The True to You Club is a student-led Gay-Straight Alliance committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We strive to foster understanding, challenge discrimination, and promote allyship through open dialogue, education, advocacy, and celebration of diverse identities.
Our Vision
We are working toward a campus where every student feels safe, respected, and empowered to live authentically, no matter their sexual orientation or gender identity. True to You creates space for connection, creativity, and conversation, where students can build meaningful friendships, express themselves freely, and contribute to a campus culture grounded in equity, respect, and belonging.
