The College's planning process is a collaborative effort to connect the fiscal, physical, human and technological resources of the College to improve student learning and achievement and meet community needs.
Good planning uses the process of inquiry as a tool to make better informed decisions and resource allocations by discovering the message that the data is relating, identifying the most important users of the information, and suggesting next steps and future directions.
The root of solid planning is facilitated dialogue to:
- examine credible evidence
- view pressing issues from multiple vantage points
- brainstorm all possible solutions to the questions at hand
- make the best decisions among available options
The ultimate goal of the College's planning efforts is continuous quality improvement.
